'C' in CPI(M) stands for any thing but Communist/Communism

The death of communist ideology in CPI (M)!

Marxist–Leninist scientific atheism, is the irreligious and anti-clerical element of Marxism–Leninism, the official state ideology of the Soviet Union and other communist states and it’s widely maintained by all communist leaders . To support those ideological premises, Marxist–Leninist atheism explains the origin of religion and explains methods for the scientific criticism of religion. As a revolutionary, Vladimir Lenin said that a true communist would always promote atheism and combat religion.

” Religion is one of the forms of spiritual oppression, which everywhere weighs down heavily upon the masses of the people, over-burdened by their perpetual work for others, by want and isolation. Impotence, of the exploited classes in their struggle against the exploiters, just as inevitably, gives rise to the belief in a better life after death, as [the] impotence of the savage in his battle with Nature gives rise to belief in gods, devils, miracles, and the like.”-Vladimir Lenin.

“Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering, and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heart-less world, and the soul of soul-less conditions. It [religion] is the opium of the people.” – Karl Marx.

“. . . and when this act has been accomplished, when society, by taking possession of all means of production, and using them on a planned basis, has freed itself, and all its members, from the bondage in which they are now held, by these means of production, which they, themselves, have produced, but which confront them as an irresistible alien force, when, therefore, man no longer merely proposes, but also disposes — only then will the last alien force, which is still reflected in religion, vanish; and with it will also vanish the religious reflection itself, for the simple reason that then there will be nothing left to reflect.”- Friedrich Engels.

The Assembly Polls in West Bengal made the CPI (M) change their ideology. The CPI (M) who will contest the elections against the BJP and the TMC with the alliance of INC and ISF.

ISF is an extremist Muslim party which is founded by  Abbas Siddique, an influential cleric of the shrine of Furfura Sharif (also known as Phurphura, Furfura Darbar Sharif is a village in Jangipara community development block of Srirampore subdivision in Hooghly District in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a holy place for Bengali Muslims).

The same Abbas Siddiqui wished more than 50 crore people to die of Covid 19 virus as some random mosque in Delhi was damaged due to accidental fire.

So what made the communist party include such a religious extremist party into their ally?

What made the same communist party of India, which was founded on the principles of Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels and Vladimir Lenin, accept someone who is against their ideology?

Is it the greed for the power that made the communist party of India sell their ideology?
